RPM' REMOTE PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT/MONITORING SOPHISTICATED, YET SIMPLE TRAINING AID HELPS BUILD MUSCULAR SYMMETRY TO MAXIMIZE YOUR PERFORMANCE RPM 2 is a wireless, remote monitoring, pressure sensing footbed used to enhance sports performance. The removable shoe inserts fit comfortably in running or cycling shoes. They are embedded with sensors and a micro controller to provide real-time data on an athlete’s gait, range of motion, running and cycling power and pressure distribution, so deficiencies in bilateral movement can be corrected and optimized. Bilateral deficiency describes the difference in strength between two sides of the body. If the problem is significant and goes uncorrected, it can lead to overuse injuries and muscle strains. Athletes strive for bilateral equivalency, where equal force is applied to limbs producing equal effect, capacity and function on both sides of the body. Poor symmetry, overtraining and improper mechanics is why seven of 10 endurance athletes sustain injuries each year. RPM 2 is the only footbed Cycling Power Meter that measures both right and left leg power, as well as collective power and cadence. It measures force while cycling, which can be viewed around the crank in 12 different positions. For runners, RPM 2 is the only footbed Running Power Meter that measures force and calibrates to the athlete. Without force, power cannot accurately be calculated. RPM 2 streams real-time power during a run and calculates force directly from the footbed, so nothing is inferred. RPM 2 gait measurements include: step time, ground contact time, flight time, cadence and sequential force strike of the heel, midfoot and forefoot. Similar to cycling, RPM 2 run data shows left and right leg power, collective power and adjustable cadence to fit training needs. RPM 2 is able to provide snapshot assessments of how gait holds up, or breaks down, during a run. It is designed to work with your smartphone, even if you don’t carry it with you during a workout. Simply click the app and RPM 2 will upload your data to be analyzed. Live streaming RPM 2 range of motion and force data to a coach allows adjustments to training regimens on the fly to help the athlete achieve bilateral equivalence, and thus higher performance. The world’s first footbed power meter for cycling and running! “With their pioneering footbed system and simple to use mobile app, it’s now possible to collect and analyze data in real time on bilateral power, force and pressure during running and cycling at your fingertips. For the first time, I’m able to quantify precisely how coached changes in an athlete’s form and technique are impacting critical elements of their efficiency and economy.” Lesley Paterson, 2-time XTERRA world champion, ITU cross triathlon world champion, 70.3 champion and professional mountain biker. RAW SLYT: 7 7 a s _ • Ant+ and .FIT compatible and you can send information to coaches via an app-driven coach-share feature, which also links directly to TrainingPeaks. • Share Your data with coaches and training partners! • The only footbed power meter in the world for both running and cycling that measures force and calibrates to the specific athlete. 155 Caleme 7'2 SPONSORED CONTENT
