    Real Taste Catering by mark webster - president was founded by Mark J Webster SR and RTC his wife Deveree in November of 1996 as a small catering company specializing in weddings and special events. Real Taste operated mostly on weekends for the first three years until the demand for services required it to become a full time catering company. By doing this Real Taste's clientele increased and became known as the Caterer that has food with "Real Taste" and good service. In 1997, Real Taste Catering felt the need to provide better service and purchased a 24 ft mobile kitchen with state of the art equipment and built to meet Health Department Regulations and State Fire Marshall Standards. This operation allowed Real Taste Catering to provide on site food preparation and special event catering. As Real Taste increased clientele base it received its first major catering event by providing catering to one of the largest churches in the city for the church Christmas Party. Real Taste feed over 3000 people for this event. Following this event RTC begin to get more catering inquiries and secured several catering contracts. Real Taste Catering increased staffing and began to do concessions events In 1998 Real Taste Catering, set up operations in the Hoosier Dome for the Indiana Black Expo and sold food to several thousand expo participants. For several years RTC would sell food as a vendor during Indiana Black Expos summer celebration. For several years RTC continued catering and providing concessions for several large public event and private events. As business continued to grow, Real Taste Catering began to search for a permanent catering facility. In April of 2002, Real Taste moved its headquarters to 2025 E 46th St this launched a new chapter in Real Taste Catering. In July RTC opened Real Taste Place as a weekend all you can eat buffet restaurant. This concept of all you can eat soul food began to pick up as word begin to spread about the good food and good service. In October of 2002 Real Taste Catering was highlighted in the Indianapolis Star as a top eatery for fans that attended the Circle City Classic Football game. This article brought much attention to Real Taste and increased sales for the business. In May of 2003, Real Taste was again highlighted in the Indianapolis Star for a restaurant review. Real Taste Catering was given 3out of 4 stars and the macaroni & cheese was mentioned as "to die for ". Real Taste continued to grow obtaining a contract to provide meal service to the I.U.P.U.I Men's basketball team seven days a week from August through May for two years . Real Taste also provided lunches for American Trans Air flight attendant training classes. In 2004 Real Taste Catering received exclusive rights to provide food service to the newly built Charles A Tindley Accelerated School. Real Taste Catering moved its headquarters to the School and began to provide USDA approved breakfast and lunches to the students and continues to day catering on site. As the need for alternative education continued to increase, Real Taste began to receive contract to other school. As the food service operations continued to grow RTC begin to expand its operation to other schools. Currently Real Taste Catering provides catering for 10 different Schools and feeds up to 4300 hundred students per day, As Real Taste Catering continues to grow they have provided in major sporting events such Super Bowl XLVI and Circle City Classic and Indiana Black Expo. Real Taste Catering is a member of the American School Food Service Association, Central Indiana Hospitality Committee.

    Services Real Taste Catering provides full service catering and food service management to Schools, Daycare Centers and Commercial institutions on a daily basis.     A Brief History of OUR COMPANY Real Taste catering was founded in 1996 for the purpose of meeting the needs of existing and prospective clients who wanted special events catering. In 2004 Real Taste entered the commercial food service industry as a result of providing food services management to schools. RTC provides service to public, private and charter schools. Real Taste Catering provides nutritious meals to forty-five hundred kids daily. Real Taste Catering has held several major contracts: * The Super Bowl XLII * The IUPUI Mens Basketball Team * American America Trans Air Stewardess Training Lunch and more.
