NONAMECOLUMN SEPTEMBER 2011 Denis Snow Greg Adler President & C.E.O. 4 / ORA SEPTEMBER 2011 TWO NOTEWORTHY EVENTS COMING UP The North Texas Power Stroke Association had another successful fundraiser for Operation Light Sabre (OLS) at their 11th Annual Truck Rally in October 2010. Everyone who contributed knows how important this cause is and strongly supports the troops that are here in the U.S and abroad. We are looking forward to raising more money for OLS during our upcoming 12th Annual Truck Rally on the weekend of Oct. 1-2 in Caddo Mills, TX. For further info go to www.northtexaspowerstrokes.com. A big thanks to all who donated, along with Joan Johnson who made the cakes for the Truck Rally. She did a fabulous job! -Sharon MacAllister September 9th, Reno, NV, Ultra4 Stampede Best Prepared Trail Rig Team Challenge for Landuse. Hosted by Del & Stacie Albright, BlueRibbon Coalition, the Team Challenge will take place on the main stage at the Reno Stampede. Like a scavenger hunt on a vehicle, the Team Challenge pits up to seven teams in a race against time to find goodies that might be found on a well set up trail rig. All done in fun, and all done for Landuse. The Team Challenge brings awareness to Landuse and trail access efforts while providing fun. Businesses provides gift certificates and products so that nearly all competitors walk away with "goodies." A small team registration fee is requested to support BlueRibbon Coalition. Teams can apply to compete by emailing Del for more info and the application: del@delalbright.com. PRESIDENT'SCORNER September means summer is coming to an end. Labor Day weekend gives many of us one last chance for a 3-day weekend with friends and families. Whether you hit the best local trails or the lake, I hope you enjoy! The Truck & Jeep Fest crew wrapped up another terrific year of events with the last show at Orlando. I want to thank all of you who attended the events this year. If you missed out, keep an eye out for the 2012 schedule coming soon. The 4 Wheel Parts Showroom on Wheels will be stopping at one of our favorite events, the 4Wheel Jamboree at the Indianapolis fairgrounds Sept 16-18. This is the biggest event in the Midwest, so if you are in that area be sure to stop by. The Indy store throws a huge party on Saturday night so add that to your calendar. If you're thinking about improving the look and ride of your rig, check out our Interior, ATV, and Winch buyers guide in the middle of this issue. It's packed full of spectacular deals on seats, ATV accessories, and recovery gear from the best brands in the business.
