Friday, July 30, 2010 THE BEAUSEJOUR REVIEW 5 Kids hit the high seas at church By Thomas Shirtliffe Sometimes just reading the Bible isn't fun enough for kids. Th ey want to have fun, play games and watch videos. Local pastor, Chris Jordan, knew that and he put them all together to help kids learn about God and the Bible in a fun and interactive way. Sixty kids got to hit the decks throughout the week, playing games, having snacks and watching video. All of this was done with God's words in mind. "We're trying to teach them about God," Jordan says. "Th is way makes it fun for the kids." Each day brought a new subject for the kids. Monday was 'God's word is true', Tuesday was 'God's word is comforting', Wednesday was 'God's word is surprising", Th ursday was 'God's word is life changing', and Friday was 'God's word is fo ...
